Education:

BS, Biology, University of California, Los Angeles, 2002
PhD, Biological Oceanography, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, 2011

Research Interests:

I study marine zooplankton with a focus on copepod crustaceans. With the Johnsen Lab, I am researching the light environment of the upper, sunlit ocean layers and the visual capabilities of copepods that inhabit this zone.
